Music is a passion. It's
something that bleeds into each of us
and effects us in a certain way.
There isn't much difference for
Johnny. Only music isn't just
his passion, it's in his blood.
It courses through his veins and makes
up part of the person he is.
He's a singer, a songwriter, a
producer and he can play pretty much
any instrument you put in front of
him. His extensive knowledge
ranges from drums, guitar, bass, and
keyboard to the banjo and violin.
He likes to write songs and compose
them as well.
His former band, Fly, released one
album and while working on their
second album, they decided, mutually,
to split up. Since the break-up of
Fly, Johnny has produced for Overflo
and has recently formed a new band,
OPERATOR, with (drummer) Shad Wilhelm, (guitarist) Doug Dunham
and (bassist) Wade Carpenter.
Johnny has one of the most unique
sounds in the business. His
voice resonates through his music in a
palpable presence that bring the
emotion of the song to the surface and
you understand exactly what you were
meant to during that moment.
A OPERATOR EP entitled Can You Hear
Me Now has been released and was all
written, arranged and performed solely
by Johnny. The band is currently
working on a second release, La Luna
del Diablo Blanco.
